Terrible staff and management, hostile environment

-Poor management -Weird dynamic at work -Manager has a superiority complex, focuses on hierarchy and is incredibly biased. -Doesn’t bother to speak in English with the other fellow workers from his own country. -Touches you without permission or warning. Has no respect for your time, personal life, personal space or health. -Was ignored when feeling ill, said it’s not possible since I felt fine when I came to work (6 hours prior). Would not let me go home and only did after I started crying. -When complaining that other staff is being rude, he said that ‘nobody complained about this issue before’ and therefore was not taken seriously -Said he can fire me on the spot when I disagreed on a matter -When said to ‘hurry’ I responded to ‘sorry I was making sure not to bump into other waitress’. He angrily responded with ‘when I speak you don’t answer back to me’. -Said that the reason I’m not a good worker is because I have a poor personal life. Since when is personal life allowed to be discussed and ridiculed by the manager?? -Overall un-professional and aggressive behaviour -Other staff is not much better, one supervisor yelled at me at every little mistake, I would have to repeat myself multiple times to reassure that it did not affect any of the customers. -Some waiting staff was hard to get along with. They prefer to stay in their groups, do not bother to include you in conversation. One particular girl would not stop flirting with the barman during working hours. Made for a really awkward time. -Lift system carrying food to the main floor, making it hard to communicate food missing, a lot of issues between staff encountered due to this aspect alone -Most staff is terribly overworked and tense. -Poor training.
