Pros

There is a significant amount of work to be done during certain times of the year, a high opportunity for overtime in the temporary worker capacity.

Cons

The company has a hard time holding on to temporary workers, and doesn't seem to value the individual beyond how many files they can move. It's understandable that some temps will leave, but a large percentage of temps leave without warning and there is no explanation given. I found myself overworked on an extensive schedule. Many times I worked from 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM (with overtime), but management would tell me I could leave soon, only to turn around fifteen minutes later and change their minds when new files came in. There was a lack of awareness, including times when I was carrying 150% of my workload, and they reprimanded me before later going back and determining that the caseload was being misdistributed. I was between jobs in my legal career, and was asked if I wanted to stay on after my temporary employment. At the end of the temporary employment, they suggested I could have a management position there after several years of work. Why would I want to climb a corporate ladder there when they knew I had my J.D. and was looking for a more substantial position? Did they see my value, or did they not simply understand?

Pros

Nice people, some work flexibility.

Cons

Stated daily goals were not in alignment with actual productivity. Should have been more answers to questions/completed files, not more calls. Employees not effectively managed.

Pros

The managers and leads are really good and friendly and the environment was fun. I was full time during their busy season and part-time for a while. The job is fast paced so even though it can get stressful sometimes, the day goes by fast. I am on one of the teams that is only needed during busy seasons, but if I cross train to the other team next time then there are opportunities for permanent and full time work. There were a lot of times I could work overtime, so you can make a lot more money than you'd think based on the hourly pay. Overall, it's a fun place to work and I like the job.

Cons

Sometimes we didn't know what our workload was going to be because the clients are unpredictable. So sometimes we went home early and other times we had to work overtime .
