Pros

being a family owned company around for 100 years and the ability to carry some amazing product you'd think it would be a fun place to work..

Cons

the current owner, who is the grand daughter of the founder, has taken her grandfathers and her fathers vision and obliterated it... Her children all work for the company and its obvious, they're there for the paycheck and the obvious other perks only they receive.. Staff is talked to as if they're inferior, regardless of your experience or title.. The owner is afraid to spend money or wont for product needed to keep up with current trends and the set sales goals.. Once she retires, I imagine it will only take a few years for her greedy kids to run this once amazing store into the ground...

Pros

Best selection of luxury linens with highly skilled selling staff .

Cons

Family run business with no structure or accountability. Benefits are poor. Medical insurance is the only benefit offered. Paid holidays and paid time off does not start until a year of service

Pros

I enjoyed working with the long time clients. It was a joy putting together the new linen collections for their home. I felt honored working for a long time standing company.

Cons

Sometimes it is difficult working for a small family business than a large corporation because you have to wear more hats than just the job position assigned to you.
