      Pros

      You definitely gain experience doing many different things as you will wear many different hats. The benefits were great when I started, and still decent when I left.

      Cons

      #1 rule seems to be "keep the client happy at all costs" which yields unrealistic expectations both externally and internally. A government contractor with government contractor salaries Management team is not good at managing...anything Long hours; too many responsibilities; little appreciation; Owner involvement is chaotic and kills productivity Software development with unrealistic deadlines and (typically) non-negotiable requirements. New responsibilities (promotions) do not come with additional compensation

      Pros

      The company cares about its employees. It is a small company completing big work. You will get to work on large projects but with a small team that are all good people and get along with each other. Good opportunity for remote positions.

      No cons at this time but apparently I have to keep typing until I have 15 words.

      Pros

      Small Company so most employees interact almost daily with management. Management cares about your personal wellbeing The company is diverse, and everyone is respectful. New ideas can be suggested and tested. Wins are celebrated and losses are addressed in constructive way.

      Cons

      Subcontractor on most Government contracts. Employees are spread over different Navy bases in the Washing, DC area so it can be hard to meet employees from different contracts.
