      Heavy micromanagement and paranoid executives

      Pros

      Promising innovative platform, easy communication between teams and departments at the time.

      Cons

      Executives overly paranoid about employees working hours even though the job opening was advertised as a laid back and flexible work environment. Insane threats to employees without ever taking into consideration real performance metrics and other culture checkpoints besides their biased opinions. Also it's really weird how they tried to look at developers screens to see if they were working or not in an office that was super small lol

      Best company I've ever worked for

      Pros

      The company is doing very well and growing fast. The founders genuinely seem to care about employee satisfaction. The culture is inclusive. The pay is good. And you get to work from home!

      Cons

      Pismo is due to be acquired by Visa as soon as they get regulatory approval. This isn't necessarily a bad thing. The contract includes a provision that the founders will keep working for the company for at least 4 years. Everyone who wants to continue working for the company will become Visa employees. Every indication is that Visa is happy with the way the company is being run and doesn't want to make a lot of changes. The only con is the uncertaintly. There's no guarantee that they won't change things for the worse down the road.

      Incredible health and dental insurance, Flash card for food (great value), 100% home office + R$ support for this, Opportunity and room to grow

      Cons

      Product top downs can come to you in an unorganized way and this can often happen with many projects being prioritized at the same time. In the product area there isn't much of a career plan designed/structured at the moment.
