      Lots of kinks to work out

      Pros

      Great for a first job after university as it helps you get your foot in the door and gain experience with client management. Lovely and friendly team, team culture was nice, and it was great to have time to do workshops with colleagues.

      Cons

      Poor team organisation, overloading copywriters with accounts for sectors that they have no expertise on. Poor assignment of accounts, not taking individual creative strengths into account. Poor decision making in terms of team hires and fires - no vetting for some??

      Flexible with good intentions

      Pros

      The flexibility at Pitch121 is a massive pro, both in how you work (remote from anywhere) and what you do. The product/service is ever changing depending on what clients need or want. Those with initiative who are adaptable and flexible can have a big impact on the direction of the company overall. Leadership are open to new idea's and you can't fault their intentions or how much they care. Visibility is there, staff don't have to look far to see the impact they are having on the business.

      Cons

      Given the nature of marketing agencies of this size, things change quickly. The product/service offered isn't and won't ever be finished, this means processes and roles are bound to change continuously. Not all idea's are good ones and I think the downside of open leadership that listens is that you can sometimes do too much at once. Occasionally we have situations where different people are prioritizing different changes at the same time which can be slightly confusing.

      Pros

      As a recently onboarded employee at Pitch121, I can definitely share that my onboarding experience was very well structured. I felt confident handling client work starting from my first month thanks to the support and insights shared by my assigned mentor and team lead. I appreciate the open door policy at Pitch121 and value the fact that all opinions are considered and heard when it comes to process or product development. The company culture is built on trust and the entire team has great rapport which allows the team to work collaboratively and ensure top tier client work. I am excited to have become a part of the team and look forward to see how my career will progress.

      Cons

      I have not seen any major gaps within the company's structure. As it is a smaller company, there aren't many diverse job roles so you are not able to gain certain skills such as SEO or paid ads.
