Pros

- 100% Transparency with all employers; - Performance and Salary Reviews every 6 months; - They truly care about people. They provide bi-weekly 1on1's with the Department (Engineer, Product, Design) Manager so you can get anything off from your chest; - Company is completely open and thankful to criticism — they actually listen; - The internal and work processes in the company are incredibly organized — without any bureaucratic disruptions; - Incredible colleagues, a place where you can easily make friends; - The company is super careful in maintaining its culture — the recruitment is super careful in bringing great people with positive personalities; - Diversified and challenging projects with different technologies (React or Vue); - Projects are designed by Pixelmatter's designers, so you can only expect to develop good, beautiful and clean designs; - It's a great place to grow your career — there are plenty of opportunities to level up your soft and hard skills; - Remote by default — although the company has an office, you can work remotely at all times if that's what you prefer; - Salaries match the highest industry standards within Porto; - Annual 800€ plafond to spend in Health, Learning, Mobility or Office material.

Cons

As of today, I can't find any cons. The company along the years really took a huge effort in improving/solving any cons from the past.

Pros

- Great management & awesome work environment; - Office with top work conditions (everyone has a Retina Macbook Pro, Dell monitor, etc..), also has a nice view to the city centre. - Nice kitchen where you can have lunch, also has fruit, coffee, water, and other sorts of food snacks. - Everyone is friendly & very professional. Colleagues have great technical & also non-technical skills from which you can learn from. - Possibility of Remote work. - It's not a very big team so you have room to be heard and to evolve. - The design team is really creative & competent, like the name of the company says: Pixel matters. :)

Cons

Nothing to report, it's definitely one of the best software houses in Porto.

Hello 🙂Thanks for providing your feedback about Pixelmatters. We're pleased to see that, overall, you had a positive experience at the company. Providing and receiving feedback is a cultural pillar of Pixelmatters, as something we deeply value. Each person should be able to share its perspective in a constructive manner, to help Pixelmatters becoming better: the colleague next to you, your "department" and ultimately, the whole company. We cannot promise to be perfect, but we can promise we'll work hard in order to improve every single day. 🙂 Thanks again, Pixelmatters

Pros

• Great Team an Office environment: You'll make real friends here; • Fast rhythm of work and project development will lead you to get to know all UI Design tools in a short time; • Possibility to work remotely; • Good work tools — Macbook Pros, newly design' software; • Work on top to bottom projects: You'll work and talk directly with the Client and the engineering team; • Performance Review — Constructive feedback;

Cons

• Don't expect to use any Design thinking methods or a Design system for the projects. You'll use your UX knowledge to directly execute UI tasks; • Lack of Career Guidance; • Sometimes work can be overweighting, get ready to work extra hours pretty often; • Bad deadline management.
