Pros
As my colleague wrote, the close proximity to great coffee, burgers, and sushi are the only redeeming qualities associated with Pixels & Dots.
Cons
Where to start… First, any positive reviews you read on this company come directly from the mouth of the two owners or by someone in direct relation to them in an effort to skew the ratings and perception of Pixels&Dots, of this I am certain. Luckily for you, reader, there are people out there who are committed to honesty (something the owners could benefit from an ounce of) and shedding light on this company and the way that it is run. In my time at Pixels&Dots I saw employees hired and fired without warning or just cause, with a few more wise employees quitting before being terminated. It’s a toxic work environment where the two owners are in a constant power struggle. Greed is what drives this company and the next sucker they see walking through the door is who’s behind the wheel (I’m convinced that the quote “A fool and his money are soon parted” is taped upon their vanity). They are careless when it comes to delivering a quality product, they are clueless when it comes to web design, development and the host of other “services” they provide, and they actively oppose creating an enjoyable work environment that is both respectful and balanced. All of this coupled with a complete and unmatchable disregard for their employee’s feelings, work/life balance and overall well being lead to some serious concerns of the morals and ethics on which the foundation of Pixels&Dots rests. Clients and potential employees beware, they are extremely litigious. They will sue you, call the cops on you, take you to court. What. Ever. It. Takes. I’ve seen it happen. In closing, I plead with urgency to anyone who is considering working for or with this company in any capacity to stay far, far, far away. If you’re an employee, they will take advantage of you. If you’re a client, they will bleed you dry of your money with no remorse. If I’ve failed to convince you then I am truly sorry for the troubles that lie before you.
