Terrible upper level management, with very high staff turnover and managers “hopping” in and out of roles, some team members & team leaders are made to do several jobs at once, the staff turnover is ridiculous bc literally NO ONE wants to stay, some managers are v two faced and start of lovely but then start creating a fear culture amongst staff, micro managing staff and lying, also making accusatory statements against members of staff for some of their own mistakes, talking about staff members with the office door open etc, most of the staff left in a huge drove after the environment became unbearable, MOST IMPORTANTLY: customers can be extremely abusive and there is no protection policy for staff, when it’s unnaceptable as even McDonald’s and Weatherspoons protect their staff so ngl a company that is apparently so focussed on health/wellbeing should really be able to implement that for their staff. I was verbally and physically abused by a customer outside the shop as well as being stalked repeatedly by a customer and I knew there was nothing I could do about it so that ended up being the final straw for me several other staff ended up leaving due to repeated abuse from customers. Company is hiring a lot at the moment so a lot of people get jobs here easily but it is not worth it, only place worse is daylesford.
