Pros

People are nice, kickoff are nice and that's it

Cons

1. salaries are not competitive - way lower compensation/benefits comparing to other tech companies. If you look at associate level in other companies, the pay is equivalent to a senior at Planisware. 2. Policies became not flexible right before and after the IPO -- Especially the return to office policy. They are pushing people to come into the office for I don't think what reason. A company should give more trust to the employee that they can also perform well even working from home. Otherwise, what is the point of you hiring them? Before they hire me, one of their selling point is saying the company is very flexible. And this is not the case anymore. 3. Management level are not being a role model -- when they trying to push people back to the office and they are the one not being in the office. Some of the days that require to be in the office often being so quiet. This is so unfair to the employee that being in the office and being double standard. 4. Not listening to the advice provided-- You can see that there are a lot of comments and reviews here, but non of them are taking care of, I am not sure if you go to HR, how much you can do about it, or maybe you will be targeted after. 5. The culture is changing -- I liked this company is because of their culture, but it seems like it is changing. If the compensation is not competitive, culture is not better than others. I am not sure how the company finds a way to keep good people.

Pros

Most employees are super friendly and helpful. The organization is flexible when it comes to switching teams, if needed. 401k benefits are decent. Yearly kick off trip is lots of fun.

Cons

The company leaders are backwards thinking, evidenced by their stringent back-to-office policy (which is strict for US offices only) and disproportionately affects lower-ranking employees compared to upper management. Directors and VP-level personnel often demonstrate infrequent office attendance, fostering a perception of unequal treatment. This company approach to micromanage is obviously aimed at cultivating a false sense of camaraderie at the office, by pressuring especially lower-level staff to physically be present in the office, all of this for us to seat on virtual meetings via Microsoft Teams while we are in the office. It just doesn’t make sense. On top of that, the limited office space, devoid of cubicles and excessively reliant on a few conference rooms for a workforce of approximately 60-80 employees per office, poses significant challenges to productivity. The company's compensation packages fall below industry standards, both in comparison to competitors and the broader tech market in the US. Failure to align with the compensation norms in Silicon Valley and other tech hubs results in good talent avoiding the company, or leaving Planisware. ~90% of US management are French and there’s growing dissatisfaction that employees are getting promoted/ or not being reprimanded, only because they are French. Some of these same managers are not qualified for the jobs they are doing, or do not perform on the level needed, but it feels like this does not matter to leadership.

Pros

If you luck out with a good manager, most will jump at any opportunity to help you or bring you into their circle. Colleagues go out of their way to include you and support you as much as possible. Generally most staff are eager, hardworking, and supportive.

Cons

Upper management are completely unaware or choose not to be aware of the toxic culture within teams. Some upper managers are abrasive, micromanagers, and rude to their direct reports. C-suite management have no accountability benchmarks to ensure their upper management are ethical and honest. The company prioritizes reaching their goals rather than ensuring lower and mid level managers are treated well from upper management. Can be quite cliquey with some more senior staff within a team. I have witnessed Micro aggressions, abrasive behavior, and negative remarks about others outside and within some teams during team meetings which is pretty common. If you don’t hate the same colleagues they hate you will be their next target.
