It's an industry that makes money off of beautiful women so you better expect that even if you aren't in front of the camera you're being judged. It's obvious who's there to work and who's there to advance their own agendas. Beautiful young female employees will almost always advance faster than the rest (which would be considered a Pro and not a Con if you're one of these people). I'm not sure that this will continue after the mansion is sold but every time a mansion party comes around these secret invites will be given out to certain people in the office leaving others to feel left out. In reality, the person giving the invites was a girl who was an assistant to an exec who would invite people she liked or was friends with . Which makes it awkward in the office if you weren't one of the lucky ones to be invited. No yearly reviews and difficult to get raises. High turnover. My former boss was a narcissist who, when asked, spoke highly of my work ethic and claimed to be my biggest fan but kept overlooking me for opportunities that I had shown an interest in. When I resigned, that persons parting words to me were "you're a very hard worker but hard work isn't everything". That statement speaks volumes. You'll go further with this company if you can play the game and fit in.
