I am genuinely so disappointed at what sounded like a really exciting and fast paced environment. Plexal run like a larger organisation; decisions don't get made, weirdly tons of bureaucracy, and you can be made to feel isolated really quickly due to the clique/favouritism nature of the business. Communication is a real issue due to the lack of it, nobody seems to direct their comms to the right places and loads of side conversations leave out key people. They pretend to be transparent, but they don't have zero understanding of what that means, and its hard to navigate and understand the real picture through all the internal egos and politics. I have never worked somewhere that spend so long unpicking and prioritising various conversations and issues that SLT create rather than actually doing the work/job that needs to be done.

Some members of the SLT have massive egos, zero EQ and no real ability when it comes to growing a successful consulting business. Resourcing is a constant struggle leaving the staff to bear the brunt of under resourced projects resulting in burn out and real discontent. The HQ is incredibly cliquey making it a very unpleasant place to work at times.
