Pros

- somewhere to get experience if you’re struggling to get a foothold in the industry - convenient location - really nice colleagues

Cons

- the worst company culture ever - owner-managers do not care about employees at all - well below industry average pay -you will be have to lie to clients, make poor-quality work you are embarrassed by and perform dishonest and even illegal activities like leaving fake reviews (I am 100% certain that the positive reviews here were left by the owners) -owner managers create a culture of fear and silence, they read your Skype conversations and emails, employees socialising or talking to each other is hugely frowned upon and discouraged - when you leave, owner-managers take huge offence and will refuse to give you a reference or only provide a reference confirming your employment dates, which is unfortunate given that... - staff turnover is so high due to the toxic atmosphere that almost the whole staff is replaced within a year - owner-managers blame everything on employees while taking credit for their work to clients and constantly talk smack about people who used to work at the company in an incredibly unprofessional way (including to clients) -creepy and inappropriate comments from male owner-manager to young female staff -owner-managers are in a relationship and will fight and yell at each other in the office in front of staff -lack of transparency about company ownership, you will be paid by a separate holding company (if you get payslips at all), I tried to figure this out on Company House and it's bewildering, stinks of tax evasion - you will never visit the doctor or dentist again - if you do, they will take it out of your (legal minimum) holiday - no benefits - management lies to staff constantly, making promises about changes, raises and expansions that never happen - also promises bonuses that never materialise - owner-managers are pretty much Amy’s Baking company from Ramsey’s kitchen nightmares - your self esteem and self worth will be so destroyed by working here it will take you years to recover

Pros

- Nice working location in Windsor next to Windsor Castle. - Decent collection of clients

Cons

- Management tasks its employees to create fake positive reviews for Glassdoor and for their clients. The latest "positive" reviews are forged by their employees. - There's little to no training within the team, leaving you to play catch-up from the start. - The company's leadership (Chairman & MD, as well as Chairman's brother & son-in-law) all work within the company and have personal relationships with each other. - There is no HR within the company! - Managers within the team are favoured and don't properly support their team mates, especially with projects. (1-1 sessions and time together doesn't exist) - Progression within the company is dire. - They will pick up new clients every week with little to no planning, leaving it a rush to kickstart projects and assign teams. - Little to no support from managers & directors with work loads, support mentally, and with clients. They leave you on your own. - Their salaries are based on brackets (according to them), and are low and detached from skill sets. - Lieu days from client events don't exist and are pushed away from managers when requesting them. (Requested after an event, but kept getting pushed back) - Leadership is poor, leaving employees to navigate solo without guidance or support. - Rewards for hard work goes unnoticed (at best, you get mentioned in a weekly newsletter) - Seniors often claim credit for juniors' work to evade accountability. - Micromanagement is so bad, and feedback from work feels very blunt. - Expectation of long hours, ruins any possible work-life balance. - Mental health concerns are kept quiet (no advice for counselling sessions, even though they advertise it a lot)

Pros

Pretty good location, I guess

Cons

Disorganised, dishonest company that feeds you all the usual ‘big happy family’ stuff to try and guilt trip you into propping up their incompetence long after your working day has finished. Senior management have a few ‘favourite’ clients who are all either terrible people or actual crooks, and the rest you’re expected to lie to constantly while all the work is done on the cheap. Bizarre culture and company structure that means you’re constantly paranoid and on edge, plus all the positive reviews are so clearly written by the owner it’s actually funny. MD needs to learn some basic people skills and the chairman/owner(?)/whatever is an utter creep who turns up about twice a year and just talks at you for 15 hours. Avoid unless you’re really desperate, anything you learn won’t be worth all the stuff you’ll have to unlearn in your next job.
