Pros
Pointy, where do I begin. I was one of the earlier employees while the company was still in an incubator and now there’s about 100 people and growing at crazy amounts, over 16k retailers and so many cool products being launched. All this happened in my time there of just a year and 9 months. I can only imagine what Pointy will be in the next 5 years , hell, the next year.
Pointy co-founders Mark and Charles are a dynamic duo. Both very talented engineers but then Mark happens to also be a really smart business person, I mean do you want any more from Tech company co founders?
Do not consider Pointy if you hate change or do not have patience for growth pains that come with a high performing startup. Do not go to Pointy for a stable 9-5 and pay check. Go to Pointy if you have Curiosity, ambition and the grit to back it up. Go to Pointy if you well and truly want to be part of something incredible. Go to Pointy for the employee support, amazing culture and genuinely supportive co-workers. Go to Pointy to build something amazing with a great group of people. If you are reading this and wondering if you should accept that offer or start that job application, do it. They might reject you because the standards are super high but trust me it’s worth a shot, especially if you are great.
Cons
A lot of change which can get exhausting as priorities are shifting endlessly sometimes with little on no explanation but this is a downside of any high performing startup.
