Pros

Good perks like free meal ( if you like Chinese food), fast pace product development

Cons

1. Very political. There is a small group of people that executives trust and have frequent small side chat with. Your performance review is just a process that no one cares. All that matters is in the small chat within the small group. If someone talks bad about you, you are screwed. It creates a political and lack-of-transparency working environment. 2. They layoff 5-10% every 6 months. Some people got fired at their first 6th months. The managers just get rid of people totally based on whether they like them personally. 3. The work-life balance is terrible. They expect people to work at night time and weekends, on a regular basis.

Pros

Well funded company with a lot of experienced people. Lots of good engineers work here, you can learn a lot from them

Cons

Upper management doesn't know a thing about management! Office politics is happening every second in the office and I don't see they want to build autonomous vehicle

Pros

Some talent engineers work in this company. The company has a good reputation in China because of the CTO, Tiancheng Lou.

Cons

1. Always over promising. They will promise you everything you want(except salary and option), but don't plan to fulfill it. A lot of engineers have leaved this company due to this reason. 2. Managers and leaders are only care about demo but not technology. 3. Managers encourage 996 working time(Working from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., 6 days per week). The engineers who does not work enough time will get low performance. 4. Office politics happens everywhere.
