      Working at PAI, I feel like I have found my tribe. Every single staff member with whom I have interacted shows a passion and enthusiasm for the work that is seldom found in the nonprofit world today. They make one look forward to come to work everyday! That is before you meet the amazing network of international partners and fall in love with their stories, their challenges and victories. The CEO, Nabeeha Kazi Hutchins, leads from her heart. She has a clear new vision for the organization that seems guided by her personal convictions and life experiences. In uncertain times such as these, her openness, candor, and commitment make her precisely the right person to take the organization through the rough patch and onto the next level. With her at the helm, PAI has a bright future ahead.

      Change is never easy but sometimes necessary

      Pros

      PAI has drifted, in its mission, for awhile. The goals were always aspirational but we lacked real direction. Our new CEO has taken the reins & drawn a clear path. Our partners, our awesome partners, appreciate our clear direction. Together, we are creating change that must happen. I'm excited to go to work.

      Cons

      I work for a nonprofit & sometimes I work long hours. But, I love what PAI does and I'm more than willing to give more. I'm proud of where I work and what we do. Because we are small, there isn't always room for moving up/promotions. But PAI is well respected so experience transfer easily.
