No job security. You're always threatened with possible lay offs by management because most studies are funded by grants and "funds are always limited". Absolutely no career growth opportunities. No room to move up. You're given very little resources and support and then expected to pull off miracles. Then if you do, there is absolutely no recognition of your effort. There's also a very poor training program and the manager doesn't take responsibility for their lack of involvement in the training of their employees. No value in their employees. All that really matters to the company is how they can save money while appearing expensive.
