Pros

I was able to get my foot in the door in the sales rep industry and I appreciated they gave me a chance. They have beautiful products.

Cons

Where to begin? I was yelled at on almost a daily basis The communication in this company is terrible, we would be told to how to do things differently all the time and no one was on the same page. Training was minimal, they would train us on product knowledge, but not on how to be the best at our job. The 'commission' is pathetic and was barely anything. They favor men over women and they favor Spanish speaking employees. When I put in my two weeks I was told that I was fired anyways and to leave immediately. They don't care about their customers or employees just the money that is coming in.

Pros

Great products and nice showrooms. There are some great people in the company.

Cons

A lot of empty promises. Culture based on favoritism and not work performance. All the work falls on certain people and the pay isn’t great for those picking up the slack. Very stressful and no flexibility or work life balance. High turnover rate of good employees for valid reasons. Retail is treated like dirt so if you’re not going into outside sales, good luck. No room for innovation. You’re a disposable number.

Pros

Well known brand designers and architects recognize

Cons

The sales people are leaving the company or transferring to SCAL from lack of leadership, outdated pay structure and treated like EVERYONE is replaceable. There is more turnover to come over the next few months. If you cared as much for your team as you do “the sale” nobody would ever want to leave

Porcelanosa Response

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry your experience wasn’t up to our usual standards. At Porcelanosa, we work very hard to stay abreast of the market and generally pay ahead of that curve. Many factors play a role in an employee’s decision to transfer including cost of living, which is currently an issue in the Northern California market. Porcelanosa continues to expand its footprint in the US and sometimes transferring to new locations can be a sought after challenge that we happily try to accommodate. Thanks again for taking the time to write the review, we appreciate the information. We will continue to work hard to make Porcelanosa the best place to work for all of our employees.
