Pros

1 You'll work with the best people you could ever possibly hope for. 2 Loudly discussing things are seen as normal and you won't get fired for it. 3 Chortling at management seen as normal and you won't get fired for it. 4 A verbal firing often doesn't count. 5 Sometimes management goes on trips. 6 Break time is whenever you decide it is. 7 Lunch time is whenever you decide it is. 8 You set the start and end of your day. 9 There will definitely be stories. Many depressingly hilarious stories. 10 Unless you meet certain criteria, management will love you when you are first hired.

Cons

1 You'll work for the most difficult boss you could ever possibly dread. 2 Being spoken to loudly is seen as normal. 3 Getting belittled loudly is seen as normal. 4 Even if you do manage to get fired, your right to unemployment will be fought. 5 Management is often the first to arrive and the last to leave. 6 Sometimes you don't have time for a break. 7 Sometimes you don't have time for lunch. 8 Sometimes you are the one who must help management and the overseas office at 4 AM. 9 There will definitely be stories. Many depressing stories with you as the main character. 10 Eventually management will figure out who you are, and then you will be another backstabber and letdown, like the rest of the employees.

Pros

It is a job. If you have the patience to handle the management style, the rest of the employees are very nice which makes for a very relaxed atmosphere when uberboss is not around. It is fairly easy to take time off, but only because the boss sees this as costing him less. If you are a career person, or someone who takes their work seriously, this is definitely not the place for you.

Cons

The highest turnover rate in the county. This says something very concrete about the management "style", which is extremely aggressive, unpleasant and unprofessional. There is no benefits package whatsoever. Employees are required to repeatedly request performance reviews, even though written company policy states that these are regularly performed. When they occur they are rarely positive. Management does not accept criticism, constructive or otherwise. No suggestion box here, although there is a lot of talking and posturing. Extremely low wages across the board when compared to similar functions in other companies. Management compensates by hiring the young and inexperienced, then pretending to be Gordon Ramsey of business, which of course accomplishes little. Products are often designed by people with little or no engineering qualifications and frequently pose safety risks to their operators. Unless you are going hungry, avoid any association with this company and its products.
