It is very toxic. It is a revolving door of responsibilities with no clear idea of what your job or role is. They try and mask the problems of unrealistic expectations and being underpaid with events that they will always claim are optional. In reality they are not and you will be penalized and looked down upon if you do not attend. If you are familiar with a traditional IT structure, then look elsewhere because there is no structure here. It hasn't always been this way though. For the past year or two it has been slowly devolving into this mess of micromanaging, no accountability in management with long hours and an ever changing expectation of what your job is. Portland Internetworks will look appealing but it is a place filled with in fighting, favoritism and a complete lack of understanding on how to treat it's employees.
