Pros

Can’t really think of any except the product is nice. And some peers were great. But the rest were derogatory and degrading, Absolutely unprofessional and very cliquey. I guess the fact you can bring your pup to work is the only bright side.

Cons

I have PTSD from working here. I should have known in the interview process that this place is not run well. They asked me zero questions about my background. They were more interested in my taste in music and what I do for fun. And it went downhill from there. Owner/management and the harem of yes-men made day to day almost unbearable. It was awful and I can’t believe they’re still business. Unfortunately there’s no one there to air your grievances to, so there’s no one to report to when you are called names and yelled at. It felt like high school all over again. I’ve never seen more people cry at a work place than here.

Pros

there are ZERO reasons to expose yourself to this company.

Cons

The owner is a bonafide, self-admitted narcissist who does not care for anything other than profits. He will lie to the customer to get profits, he will lie to his employees to extend profits. -low pay -demeaning treatment -unchecked sexual harassment -empoyees pitted against one another to see who can 'do more' for the company. - no chances for advancement. - the owner pays preferred employees in the form of paying off school tuition, paying for childcare, basically paying one-offs- so the employee cannot afford things for themselves, but then you'll feel indebted when he's done a 'favor'. Leaving this work place was like leaving a toxic relationship. I didn't realize how much it negatively affected my mental health until I left.

I regret ever working here

Pros

On the surface, it seems like a great opportunity

Cons

This company steals wherever they can. Whether it’s taking bag designs directly from Madewell – or hiring creatives, taking their ideas, then “laying them off.” They were “laying people off” for the entire second half of 2023, only to send their marketing team on a trip to Mexico in February of 2024. Do not work here. Even as a stepping stone, it is not worth it. I’m embarrassed to have ever been a part of this business.
