Cons
15 Years Down the Drain – Run, Don’t Walk I gave this company 15 years of my life as a generator technician, and I can honestly say it was one of the biggest mistakes I’ve ever made. The management is a disaster — completely disconnected from the people doing the real work. They’ll preach about “teamwork” and “safety,” but when it comes down to it, it’s all talk. There’s zero appreciation for the guys in the field who actually keep the company running. Decisions are made by people who’ve never touched a wrench, yet they’ll micromanage and second-guess every move you make. Promotions and raises don’t come from hard work — they come from favoritism. Management loves to shift blame instead of taking accountability. After 15 years of loyalty, I realized they’d replace me in a heartbeat. If you value your skills, your sanity, and your self-respect — look elsewhere. There are better companies out there that actually respect their technicians. Bottom line: The management is toxic, the culture is broken, and the good workers are leaving. Save yourself the regret. I waited 5 months before writing this .
