Great Culture But Has Significant Room For Improvement
Pros
The company culture itself is phenomenal. The offices are each pretty small so you will fast make friends and will feel like a part of the "family" very quickly. There are a lot of great benefits including unlimited sick days and ESOP plan. They also have a lot of luncheons and events. The overall company is very friendly. I definitely have made connections that will last a lifetime.
Cons
They need to focus more on improving management and HR needs to focus more on being unbiased. There were many instances where I felt I could not be open about my feelings because of the buddy-buddy relationships between people. I also felt like there was frequent retaliation when expressing your emotions and that having feelings that weren't positive was immediately taken as YOU being the problem, and not the company needing to improve. Also, too often it felt like HR would ask others "how is ______ feeling about _______?" Instead of actually going to that individual and asking. As HR, you shouldn't be promoting gossip. My negative feelings were validated once I announced that I was quitting. Seeing the way my manager treated me afterwards and the claims that were made about me (things that were never reflected in my reviews) proved to me that leaving was the correct decision for me.
