Pros

Best company to work with if you look for these: * Work-life balance * WFH option * No pressurised client projects * Learn new technologies * Watch new tech presentation & to work with the great talent pool. * Average compensation & benefits. * Flexible timings, typically depends upon the project/client/manager your working with.

Cons

* Better to ignore all the prior reviews. Because, there was a management change recently due to a new(lady) addition to it, which has literally changed/worsened the whole company's culture. WOMEN Controlled! * Promotes themselves as a Product based company but it is not, since those who work under the Imaginea(sub company or a consulting firm of Pramati) group are typically assigned with client projects & not on their own products. And generally, they hire employees to work just under Imaginea and not Pramati, Hence don’t go for Pramati brand, if that’s what you’re looking for. * Very low(Max: 5%) to NO HIKE in 2016, despite having their office moved to a separate grand building in Perungudi now. * Won't give any proper hikes but would hire a new person with the same/below experience for the same role by giving great compensation and even bigger roles. * Only values people who talks-to/obeys the management. * Internal Politics, where a new hire will be assigned to projects, but they'll start to ignore existing employees by giving warning in the name of advice for career advancement to them. * They'll track your swipe records, if you even miss it for a single day, you'll get an email for the same. * Micro Management. * They outsource people to other companies in other cities & even ask to relocate

Pros

Pramati is an amazing employer. It promises to provide its employees the best work atmosphere and transparent culture which it delivers. This is the first company I have seen that before expecting anything from its employees, itself makes a promise to give them a comfortable and fair environment. The HR team is very humble and co-operative and employee friendly. Pramati does not hire people by looking at their paper qualifications, grades etc. How you performed in you interview is all that it cares about which is a rare to find in any other company. Truly cares for its employees and protects their interests. Generally there aren't any layoffs or firings.

Cons

No cons if you are not placed in CastlightHealth project. CastlightHealth is like another small company within Pramati. Hypocrisy, politics and favouritism are in the roots of CastlightHealth leadership. If you got hired for this project you will end up doing crappy operational work and not have any scope of learning. In an year's time you will find yourself way outdated in market. Most people who have served a longer tenure here do not have any hands-on with latest technologies or coding standards. Castlight is all about creating more and more managers and not good technical people. Promotions and appraisals at Castlight are on favouritism basis. It does not value people who are honest and sincere. There is no motivation for people who do the actual ground work whereas dumb cheesy talkers get all the visibility.

Pros

* Good Work Life Balance * If you negotiate well you can get huge salary * You will be retaining your job,even when client drops the project.

Cons

* Everybody seems to be dissatisfied in this company right from HR,Admin IT and Finance. They wont be happy to help you.They will encounter you with gloomy face always. * No extra perks and salary structure is such that you will pay maximum income tax. * No team outing and not even team lunch * Everybody comes here at a particular time and bury the face inside the system.Once they clock the hours they simply go to home. Including top managers.. * Management has highest order of apathy and antipathy towards employees. * No Good Projects at all. * People at the supervisory cadre will be doing extreme politics and they will ensure you wont get the deserved promotion and hike. * Favoritism at the peak.If you become close to the top managers by your own marketing and book licking skills.Then you are the king here. * Office environment is like a lathe workshop.
