Pros
Free wine which you can drink while your manager berates you for crying due to overwhelming work expectations and inappropriate work behavior.
Cons
I could spend time writing about my experience and issues at Precept Wine, but it would simply be a repeat of the reviews you see below. I could also spend time writing advice for management, but they pass these reviews for entertainment amongst teams for gossip instead of using them as a learning opportunity to improve the workplace. This review is to directed to anyone applying or considering accepting a job at Precept Wine. It is not worth it. The pay is not close to competitive, you are on call 24/7 including vacation or sick leave, and you are taught that unprofessional and even illegal practices are required to be successful in today's business environment. If you are applying to an entry level position, please know the ethics and environment you will be exposed to will not help your professional future, and your experience will be niche and difficult to apply to other industries. If you are applying to upper management or executive level positions, please know that you will likely quit within the quarter or be fired for not supporting the select few Precept Wine decision makers. I know that working in wine sounds fun, but please take the reviews for Precept seriously as are not from a few disgruntled employees, but entire teams that have left the company after realizing how toxic it is.
