Pros

-get to see many areas of gta

Cons

unsafe working environment (lack of proper lighting at sites, non-shoveled and non-salted sites), company assigned cars are unmaintained (balding tires, no windshield fluid), company is more concerned with the number of tickets handed out then well-being of employees. Management displays discriminitory practices (i.e..shoveling one area of home base and not shoveling another area where certain employees enter, promotion without merit etc). Company disregards concerns of employees and forces new duties and schedules without any training. A few things you should know about how this business is run… - Quotas of 30-40 tickets per employee per shift – the officers try to find the smallest reasons to issue a ticket because they are in fear of losing their jobs - Machines are purposefully set for time to expire at 6pm or 7pm – if you pay the evening flat rate within the last hour before one of those times it will only go up to those times. So for ex. if you pay 15 dollars for the flat rate at 5:50pm it will only go up to 6 pm. Many complaints from the employees and patrons alike fall on deaf ears because they are maximizing profits here with the purchase of the ticket plus the invoice that is issued for “expired time” by the enforcement officers. - So if you have an appointment at 6 and you come early and park at one of their lots and pay the maximum flat rate it will only go to 6 and you are not able to purchase time additional time. You will need to wait until after 6 to buy time if u don’t want it to expire at 6. You will be penalized twice; paying full price for the meter plus you will get a ticket from the patrol officer. - management wants the officers to go to these sites at the expiring time there is no grace period to ticket these individuals with “expired” tickets - Many acts of vandalism and theft occur on their sites and they do not warn patrons of that - If you call to dispute a ticket usually no one will pick up from Precise to discuss it, they do that on purpose - Even if a machine is broken some officers will still issue tickets – in fear they will lose their jobs - Management breaks their own rules so they can park in areas without paying and allows their friends and family to park for free - broken machines will be fixed promptly to avoid financial losses - Management forces the employees to do unsafe work or use the unsafe vehicles if you try to talk back to them you get in trouble for it - everyday you are harassed by upper management you will get in trouble for getting caught in traffic, not giving out enough tickets, for idiling the car for more than 5 minutes, for leaving a site if you feel that you are not safe, they want to control every aspect of your job while you are working for them

Pros

You will learn how to deal with disrespectful people. You will learn how to survive with bare minimum training. You will learn how to deal with emotional discomfort as you most likely will encounter one every other day.

Cons

- Disrespectful management (They literally yell at us, as if we were elementary school kids) - Little to no training (I was thrown into a site installation, 3 days after I was hired, and was expected to prepare and complete everything that a senior staff can) - Does not care about employees (I was given a warning letter, for being 10 minutes, literally 10 minutes, late in a snow storm. I once asked for a lightbulb change in a company car (signal light was dead) which I had to take to site, and was yelled at by management for asking such ridiculous request. - Horrible atmosphere in office (Employees are scared. When management walks by, they will peak at our computer screen to see if we're actually working. Overall, the atmosphere and mood in the office is sad)

Pros

You get paid every two weeks on a Thursday. So they meet their legal obligation. That's where the fun starts and ends.

Cons

Heavily micro managed by the ego eccentric family and two-faced smiles. Will insult, ask you questions they expect you to automatically have the answers to (or you're stupid/useless) and yell at you one moment and then ask for your help kindly the next (within 20 mins, like nothing just happened). I worked very closely with many of the Managing family members for many long agonizing months. Non-family Supervisors creep around to get things completed (asking staff to keep it on the down low - because its efficient but not approved by the family Managing Director) or have to ask permission for everything but it doesn't get approved for months; including time for vacation days off. Many of the "Chief's and higher Management" are just figure heads longing to have more say, but they need consent approves for the most simple ideas. I was told not to think for myself. WTF, my thoughts have to be approved and fed to me?! If you are not being yelled at, you can hear someone down the hall being yelled out by the family all throughout the day, or the family yelling shouting at each other - they use intimidation to rule over us like strict parents to misbehaving children and they will tell you in your face that is how it is. Staff is on high alter all day (see if the family is lurking) and creep around avoiding the managing family members (dirty looks and belitting, micro questioning and insults and shouting). There is no team activities or high moral. Everyone is stressed and tired with the additonal back bending they have to do to please the family, plus all the manual steps that take up time and do not make sense (why do you need 8 people to check one calculation or approve one $20 invoice!!??!). It's an extremely unhealthy and retrogressive (staff are very under utilized and disrespected have wanting to contribute or ask a question - no open door policy) work environment - many things are still manual and paper heavy like...being frozen in time in the 1980's. RUN THE OPPOSITE WAY - FAR AWAY!!!!
