A Frustrating Mess

Pros

Your teammates are great people. There are no egos when it comes to getting the job done. Everyone is open to sharing their knowledge.

Cons

You will be worked to death if you allow it. There is no training. You will not be paid anything beyond industry average. If you ask for a raise, you will be denied and given a nickname. Upper management is a problem. The President changed the HR policy that would have paid salaried employees for a plant closure due to weather... the day after we had a plant closure. Legal? Probably not, but he knows you won't do anything about it. He shut off the A/C because someone left a window open on a hot day. Upper management will lie to you, they will lie to customers, and if you catch them they will gaslight you into doubting what you heard. If you pursue a career at PCC, it will be 2-3 year stint before you burn out or reach the low ceiling in the company. If you are looking at a career where you will report to the family, pass on the job. They are fundamentally dishonest people.

Pros

All employees seem to get along together. I think mainly because they all fear for their jobs.

Cons

Everything! Number one would be the childish owner. He turns the A/C off to "punish" all employees for one employee that opened a window. Working at PCC is the equivalent to kindergarten of the engineering world.
