Worst place I've ever worked

Pros

Pto was great. The employees are some of the most hard working people I have ever have ever met.

Cons

The demands we insane. Prorities couldnt be managed as highups would change them on a dime all because they got an email from a customer. Do more with less thats the new core value. No communication.

I appreciate your feedback and second your comment about our employees being dedicated to their work. Our client’s needs are demanding and every changing as is the technology world. As Prelude grew rapidly over the past 3 years we have experienced some growing pains. Your advice to senior management is great and in 2014 we increased staff by 13% to help meet our support needs.

Communication...what is that?

Pros

The people that you work with on a daily basis are very well skilled and trained. There are many employees that will go the extra mile to help someone to understand an issue.

Cons

Communication, understaffing, overworked, undercompensated...I could go into much more detail, but there are many facets that Prelude needs to overcome to be a better place to work. The management will tell you one thing to make you happy; while telling others the complete opposite. There are too many projects that need completed; but not enough people to perform the tasks. When it comes to time off, it is as business requirements allow...in others words if there are no project that require your attention (which is rare). Communication is non-existant as they have requested several employee surveys and "Communication" has always been at the top of the list and still we are not told anything.

Thank you for your feedback. Yes, our employees are truly amazing! Since this review was written we have had changes in leadership and processes to help with the greater transparency at Prelude. If at any point you thought you were being treated unfair I hope you would have practiced our value of open and honest communication and brought it to HR’s attention. We strongly encourage our employees to live by our values, one mail aspect of the formula that makes our Culture and Employees so great.

HR and CEO are just bullies -- if you have any difficulties just be prepared to be bullied right out the door.
