Another Bad Company

Recommend

Business outlook

Pros

Coworkers were cool and the rigs had AC

Cons

nepotism - one of the supervisors is aggressive and rude toward employees. still hired because his father owns the company. scheduling is difficult and communication between higher ups and EMTs is virtually nonexistent. You run back to back calls but they give you a lunch break right before the 5 hr threshold so they don’t have to pay you for it or they give it to you 30 min into the shift. Don’t work here unless you are desperate

Flexible

Pros

Flexible per diem status. pick your days and shifts. Better pay than most other EMS agencies, still low but that's a systemwide issue. Good introductory healthcare experience. Some 911 options

Cons

IFT is boring but again, that's just the field. No major complaints though it's not a terrible place to work. Supervisors are super chill.
