      Negative, Toxic and Abusive

      Only a few good people left.

      The owners walks around screaming and yelling, throwing boxes (which end up hitting employees), slamming doors and beating on employees’ desks, etc. They expect the company to be top priority over an employee’s personal life and family at all times. The owners have absolutely no respect for their employees, everyone is replaceable. They bully employees to leave good reviews because of so many negative reviews (note the recent positive reviews). The negative reviews are 100% accurate and it drives them crazy. Employee turnover is the highest I have ever seen in any company! Premier Yarns / Universal Yarn currently have a very bad reputation within, not only the textile industry, but within the local business community as well. The way they run this business and treat their employees is very well known! This is a very negative, stressful, abusive and toxic environment.

      Do not work here. You have been warned. Go to Burger King. The harrassment from the owner is beyond anything I have ever witnessed. Never have a meeting alone with Hal. If you must record your conversation with him and let a lawyer listen. Guarantee a lawsuit is coming to this psychopath. Should be locked up in an asylum. You have been warned!!!!! Any good review you see on this site is because Hal the owner has employees write good reviews to offset the bad ones. Good reviews are fake. And if you are an employee there currently. You know its true. Yall are just scared of this dude for no reason. He cant do anything to you. The only way this man learns is for all of you to walk out of there and demand change. Hal you will get whats coming to you. I promise. Lawsuit Lawsuit Lawsuit.

      Pros

      Opportunity to more up pretty fast because of the lack of staff. Lots of space to work due to people leaving as soon as they can find other positions.

      Cons

      Just a bad place to work. Yelling & fighting all the dang time. Most days you walk on egg shells to figure out the top management's mood. We've been 'encouraged' to write positive reviews to balance the negative ones previously written but they aren't true life here. If you really want to get the lowdown, contact a Premier past or present employee on social media and prepare yourself for the truth.
