Brisbane office is a horrible environment to work in, this is completely due to one key member of the leadership team. When you resign expect to experience bullying, badmouthing, intimidation, and being ignored. Yes, very childish. On average the office loses about 1-3 experienced people a month (replaced by grads). This has been the general trend for the last 4-8 years. Recently there has been a mass resignation of about 6-8 staff - great to see good people getting out. Despite being warned in pretty much every single exit interview, the directors in Melbourne have chosen to do nothing about the poor treatment and management in Brisbane - $ keep coming in so why bother. It goes to show they don't care about staff.
Nothing you can do here will ever be enough, no matter how much you bill or other skills you bring to the team. You will be over worked, and they don't honour their own staff handbook and OT/TIL policy. They blatantly lie to grads about earning potentials. Pay is below industry standard by about 10-30% depending on who you are and how much you are 'liked'. You only get a payrise if they are desperate (ie. bulk people quit in a similar role to you).
I hope there are no changes to management, it will be great to see this place go down in flames. The place is an absolute joke haha :D
It is important that this information is available to anyone curious or considering a role here. For too long I witnessed too many people great people be taken advantage of, treated poorly, and had their names dragged through the mud all to fit a narrative of a big incompetent baby looking to pass the blame. Ask yourself... can all us former employees all really be that bad? Anyone considering a job here should be aware of this.
