As a new employee, you will need to teach yourself your job since there is no one to train you and absolutely no direction. A lot has changed here in the past few years. According to word of mouth, it used to be an amazing place to work. Now, on the College side, upper-level leadership and Vice Presidents have no idea what goes on at the department level. In fact, they seem to go out of their way to not be helpful and prevent faculty and staff from doing their jobs. Any effort to improve processes will be thwarted. There are never raises, even after several years with the company doing exceptional work. In a small, private, Catholic college setting, you would think administration would make an effort to treat their faculty and staff well. Unfortunately, they do not value their employees or recognize good work in any way. Meetings consume most of every day, yet nothing is improved or even followed up on afterward. Departments are very separate, spiteful, and cliquey, refusing to work together. Even the students notice the poor morale and lack of organization at the College, as proven by recent lack of enrollment.
