Pros

Sorry not able to share anything positive about this Hampton and it's ownership

Cons

Hired as the GM in June of 2016, with no Hilton Background, which was known before hire. Was told that I would be trained by Management Company, which never happened. Everything that I learned was from my own initiative. Was able to take the property in comp set from 3 to 1 for three consecutive months. Also was able to bring a team atmosphere to the hotel. Was promised a third quarter bonus if I met my guest service scores and ADR and Revenue. All were met and exceeded. However when it came time to pay the bonus I was told that I did not turn in the proper paperwork. No paperwork was ever explained. Just a excuse not to pay the bonus, as other Gm"s have said the same. This by no means is a reflection on Hampton in General, just the Troy Ohio location.
