Pros

They will put you on a plane to come there instead of the bus and they will feed you during orientation

Cons

If you are a new driver don't come here they will try to make you sign a contract to work for them for 6 months at .14 a mile for 2 months they want you to stay out 3 months and can't come home at all then they lie to you on the phone I was suppose to do a 150 hour training program with the sign on bonus but when I get down there they want to jerk me around and tell me I have to do the 300 hour training program with no sign on bonus the recruiting manager is a jerk he made me go back on a bus from salt lake city to Cincinnati Ohio instead of a plane I came on a plane he wants to take it personal because I wouldn't stay there and he tried not to pay me for my orientation so I had to go down to human resources and complain about my pay and now he puts down on my DAC report that I was discharged but I had resigned liar and manipulator.

We have rules we have to follow. This driver put more experience on the application than he had. 6 months or more , no training. Less than six you have to go out with a trainer.

Pros

I had a great experience with Pride Transport. Starting with orientation, I was flown out to SLC which was a pleasant change over riding a bus. During orientation I was always treated with respect and provided food. Stayed in a nice hotel. Hopefully Steve is still running orientation because I believe he did a great job with it. Had an A++ dispatcher who always kept me moving and earning money, office staff was always very helpful with any and everything I ever needed. This is the only company I drove for that I can honestly say always treated me good and fair. I only left because of family issues but am hoping to return at some point.

Cons

Honestly I cant think of anything that I would complain about.

Pros

Good equipment and shop repairs.

Cons

Like many companies, they claim to treat you like family. This seems so on the surface but in my opinion I can't understand treating drivers with no respect and no compassion. It seems like the bottem line is really what matters. Their fleet always has 20% of their trucks sitting without drivers and their turnover is very high. Their recruiting manager is a real jewel.

Would you mind providing more specifics so we can understand where we failed as far as how you were treated? You're welcome to provide that directly to hr@pridetransport.com There's no question that turnover in the industry is high, especially now. However, we're fortunate to be well below the industry standard. We do not rest on our laurels though. We focus on a daily basis our retention strategies and where/how we can improve. We appreciate any additional information you can provide so we can address that and improve. Thank you.
