Management sucks

Pros

Some great people to work with, flexible with the schedules for the most part.

Cons

Petty drama everywhere.. you have to kiss butt in order to get anywhere. Management is unprofessional and under qualified to the maximum. Pretty much turning into a school bus company now. All the medics are burnt out lazy jerks who think they are untouchable. Lots of laziness everywhere..oh and billing constantly kicks paperwork back and tries to make you commit Medicare fraud.

Pros

Kids were great and made the job worthwhile

Cons

Unfortunately had to leave due to management and poor clinical skills. PrideStar has great potential but truly lacks management skills (favorites were picked and it was obvious) as well as clinical team was not strong in order to serve so many children. Career advancement was also not accessible although talked about.

Don't work here!

Pros

the only pro was the starting pay and that was not worth the trouble

Cons

I worked here for about seven weeks, the shifts are too long 10-12 hours at a time. I was screamed at by co-workers, trained by someone who falls asleep and then told "you don't understand the job" I asked questions and had to wait several minutes for an answer while a nurse was holding on the other end of the phone, Was told I would get REAL training by my supervisor but something always came up, was told I had to give a two week notice to leave early for a doctors appointment yet that rule applied to me only. When asked by upper management to come in and discuss my concerns I was treated poorly by the HR dept. Upper management (who by the way a week earlier had screamed at the coworker for falling asleep found that there were "No problems", "no hostile work environment".
