You can learn quickly from a deep bench of engineering experts, particularly on FEA, material selection, and fast prototype development. There is a strong culture of engineering excellence, thorough documentation, and rational decision making to move quickly and satisfy the customer. Primaira has a well-stocked prototype fab shop and will invest in whatever tools are needed to make fast progress. Pay was fair for the area and amount of experience.
Cons
Most of the team works 50 hours/week or more, and the nature of fast-turn consultant work means there are tight deadlines and stress can rise. It's a small company, so interpersonal dynamics can have big consequences when personalities clash. There were shouting matches between employees or managers every couple weeks.
