Pros

The only Pros is that you will be working with nice team (not management)

Cons

This company has lots and lots of cons: - Working hours are from 7:55 to 5:00. if your late, you will get fired. - No Sick, Personal, or emergency days. you will only get 2 weeks per year. - Cameras are everywhere. They need to know your always working. - No 15 minutes break time. you will get 1 hour lunch (non paid) between 11:30 and 1:30. if you missed your lunch for whatever reason, you cannot go out, and still have to work till 5. - Strictly you cannot work remotely from home. - if company had a bad sales day, everyone is in trouble. and if it was really bad you will get laid off (or fired for whatever reason) - you will not feel stable working at this company. I have worked for about a year and everyday I was worried to get laid off. - Poor management without any management skill what so ever. Managers will throw you under the bus as soon as you make any mistake. - Company is not loyal to their employees, even if you work really hard. - There is no business structure, if CEO wants something done, it will to get done. your work will get interrupted a couple of times every week. - Very high turnover. too many people come and leave. - dont get creative because that does not matter. - and much much more, so my advice is just stay away from this company.

Pros

It is hard to think of pros when thinking about this company. I think maybe the fact that it is in Stittsville might be one in the sense that if you live down town you will be going against traffic.

Cons

In my opinion stay away. 8-5 with a one hour break, no 2 fifteen minute breaks. If you are late you will be fired. If you are sick and want to stay home prepare to take a vacation day from your two weeks vacation. Because of there no paid sick day policy everyone comes in sick, in this closed environment it spreads quickly... One bathroom stall, and one Urinal on the floor for around 40 males. Usually it is disgusting, and always occupied. Employee appreciation at this company is a joke. Also if something is wrong and you can be used as a scapegoat then chances are it will happen.

Pros

The people I worked with were nice and the salary was at par with similar positions.

Cons

Where do I start. From the egotistical CEO that takes up the first 4 parking spots to the operations manager who is out to destroy anyone he doesn't like, Primechoice Auto Parts is a disaster. If you are to get an interview, ask what their staff turnover is. They will tell you that it is low. That is a lie. 10 people either quit or were fired during the 2 months I worked there. There are cameras everywhere and the CEO sits in his office stalking your every move. There is no organizational structure and no one communicates with each other. Senior managers will agree with you one day and then squash you the next. I have never been in a more unmotivated office in my life. People are miserable and count the clock until their workday/sentence is over. When I say sentence, I am not joking. You feel like you are working in a federal penitentiary with at least 7 cameras watching your every move. There is absolutely no communication between departments. There is no budget to work with and decisions that are made one day are changed the next. There is no work/life balance and everyone has to punch a clock. There is no flexibility whatsoever, no matter if you worked extra hours. If you enjoy being micro-managed, work long hours, be tracked like a prisoner, have no flexibility, be disallowed from independent thinking, and can work in a dull lifeless environment; then this is the place for you!
