Being a fairly new hire, I have received no training or mentoring. I got placed to work with a fellow associate who has tried to teach me what our job entails, but they have had very little training too. The first two months were consistent of long hours (more than 10 on a regular day). I have never had guidance from my direct manager, nor does she actually try to see how I'm feeling. I got a meeting with an HR director after a month of working there, but there wasn't much feed back. Currently, I report to my associate since that is the only person who gives me guidance on what we need to do. There were promises of training, but no actual commitment was made. I worked weekends to try and get the workload caught up, but it feels like we were only hired to help the company out of a rough patch and not so much because they actually cared to help us grow in the company. I get no opinions, and the one time I tried to give my manager feedback on an issue I was having with another associate, she got very defensive and stormed off. I had no contact with her for two months basically, so I was literally left with my other associate to try and figure out how to do our jobs. Emails with questions go unanswered. They just don't care, and they made that apparent when they have meetings that exclude me. Given that I have the same exact position as my peer, but they are allowed to participate. I'm treated like I have no industry knowledge, when I came from a background that was fluent in the same processes. I finally put in my two weeks notice and upon our review, they just agreed that I was right and had valid points for wanting to leave. I was told I would have an additional call from her manager, but I waited the whole day to receive no call. Instead, that person left early and never bothered to contact.
