Toxic work environment

Pros

Opportunity to meet new people

Cons

Toxic work ethic is drilled into you from day one. Worked throughout the two different sales of the business and therefore experienced all facets of the differing work ethic. Very old school mentality- Office staff commence sharp at 7:00am and if you are there at 7:01am you are late. Sales staff on the road were not allowed to be seen in the office and if they needed to print/use a computer for whatever reason, got told that they needed to be there at 5am and out before 6:45am. Staff are scared to speak out and are all extremely over-worked for an under-average wage. Psychologically scarring to have ever worked there in the first place. Don't expect any career growth here, it's very much an exclusive club and if you are not in the in-crowd, then you are literally just a number to them and replaceable.

A political and cultural nightmare

Pros

Can't think of any. If they did something better than any other company I'd list it. But I can't see anything.

Cons

Real poisonous culture. You will get treated like meat, and if you don't like it they will replace you. You will never get told you are doing a good job, and they are more likely to instantly sack you rather than work through any problems they have with your performance. They do not value their staff, and in turn none of the staff have any loyalty to the business.

Pros

Lots of potential but sadly with current management and culture will not be realised

Cons

Too many to list, honestly I have never worked anyone so horrible in my 25 year career. Male egotistical dominated Old fashioned in everyday, not even a maternity leave policy, COO expects people to be at their desks from 8.30-5.30pm, flexible work practices.... never heard of them at Primo and frowned upon. Toxic bullying culture Fat cats at the GM level, being paid ridiculous salaries and do nothing good, all talk and male jostling to see how's is bigger strategic plan is not worth the paper it is written on The culture and values are just words on paper, the actions are actually the complete opposite, no value of people and the only ones that are bully, are political and are just out for themselves. The people that stay are not good morals and ethics or are poor performers in any other company, the good people have the sense to leave. Trade do not respect them, terrible advantage survey scores food quality practices are terrible, its all about producing as cheap as possible
