      Culture destroyed by merger

      Pros

      before 10-1-19 the pros were huge, great people, team centric, flexible hours as we had a strong team and were building a strong culture. our leaders were strong and instilled leadership quality in us. We were designing and fabricating good product and working hard to increase the quality of all we made. Near oct-2019 we meagered with Cornelius.

      Cons

      HR has always been a joke. for the last 5ys there has been over 8 HR generalists. they all quit. Very hard to do your job, when you need to interact with an empty chair where HR should be. The meagered with Cornelius DESTROYED the prince castle culture, a culture of open discussion, mutual trust and communion. the management style that took its place was filled with deception mistrust / NO trust and gossip. In July masked by Covid, the company eliminated 60 positions mostly of Prince Castle employees.

      Pros

      This company is full of really nice people. It offers a very good education benefit and really good health and 401K. Management is very polished and professional and for the most part, you get lots of opportunities to show your strength.

      Cons

      There are some managers who are very arrogant and like to micromanage and the company seems to do nothing about it even after so many complaints. This seems like a playground for those foolish people who know nothing about leadership. They are surviving on the bases of lies and manipulation.

      Was ONCE a great company to work for

      Pros

      When I first started the company everyone was incredibly friendly. I would get greeted by the CFO on a daily basis and then always looked to for my professional advice. I was well respected for the progress I had made and due to this I was promoted several times within the 6 years I had been there. There was great work life balance and the company held a baby shower for me and my wife for our fist child. This is something companies just do not do anymore.

      Cons

      Ever since a new CEO started I have seen the company and the once positive morale diminish. The CEO had brought in his people to replace veteran people that didn't need to be replaced. This company has been voted one of the best and brightest companies to work for. This is not true and was totally manufactured. The reason why this company achieved that status is because people were afraid to be honest on the survey because the thought that it may be traced back to them and they would be fired. HR is a joke. People were protected and there were issues that were brought up for bullying and harassment on several occasions on multiple people and nothing ever came of it. But the second an hourly employee was accused of the same they were let go. This company was never this was with the old CEO.
