- Once an event is officially approved, the university can be surprisingly generous with the budget and support for the event. - Potential to run high-quality student activities if you’re persistent and plan ahead.

Cons

- Slow approvals and stalling: paperwork and decision-making can take a long time, with lots of follow-ups needed. - Lack of clarity / awareness: sometimes you feel like people aren’t fully informed about student club processes, and you get redirected between offices.
