      Good pay, good benefits, good name recognition

      Cons

      Laid off 95% of staff under the claim that the org was shutting down, turns out they weren't shutting down at all and never intended to. Didn't tell former staff they were staying open until after going public on twitter about it. All sorts of shady accounting practices. Lack of transparency in leadership pay and systematic mistreatment of Black women. TLDR: if you're a white neoliberal former HFA girl you'll thrive here.

      Pros

      Considerably higher pay for non-profits and great benefits. Depending on the team, there are key managerial staff members are incredibly supportive of junior staffers. The team transitioned smoothly to work from home and is overall a great place to grow in skills and expertise.

      Cons

      Experience working here will largely depending on the team and manager, it's not always a sustainable place of work for people of color. Certain managers will use gaslighting language and micro-aggressions against BIPOC employees but get praise from others for being "progressive." HR can be frustrating.
