Pros

Ok pay, and most days are decent.

Cons

Easily the worst Dispatchers I’ve ever witnessed. Terrible attitude and terrible at scheduling calls with realistic times. So be prepared to be abused call wise. They will also have two small EMT’s on the same truck. Then will proceed to dispatched a 340lb PT and not expect them to require a lift assist. The list of issues with Dispatch alone, go on and on. This opinion is shared by a majority of the company. The supervisors are ok. One is very lazy and the other is overly strict and makes up policies/threatens employees with punishments that he has no power to administer. If you plan to get your EMT license here, be aware that they will only teach you how to pass the test. They do not actually teach you how to be an actual EMT and the training here is awful. I could say more about this company, but simply steer clear.

Pros

Some good co workers at times.and that's about it.

Cons

Too many to list. You're just a warm body. Minimal employee support. Poor management & leadership. Many Broken and poorly stocked ambulances they still put in service. Drama, toxic place. Management treats employees poorly thus very low morale. Very focused on $ profit not supporting employees. Inter facility operations is the worst and 911 is better in every way. Often has issues with charting PCR system crashing and losing reports. Management has a culture of trying to find and even make up ways to write up or fire employees. Very buddy buddy high school drama with many here and it starts with managements dysfunctional culture. Many unhappy and unappreciated employees and neglected ambulances. Very poor benefits. Bare minimum for training. Constantly hiring due to always losing employees due to above issues.
