Pros

Met some of the hardest working and resilient staff I have ever had the ensure to work with! That's all I can think of...

Cons

Not sure where to start with this... worked at the Priory Hospital Bristol for almost two years - most definitely the worst years of my work life. This place has left me damaged not only professionally but also on a personal level. The appalling management and treatment of their employees is beyond any body's comprehension.... It is so bad that it's actually impossible to describe. You have to live it to believe it and even then you will be questioning your mind thinking am I the crazy one here or is the whole hospital mad? surprised how they're still open and running.....

Pros

none anymore has steadily gone downhill.

Cons

appalling wage structure. no support from management when incidents occur, they are more likely to turn on you instead to save face. your expected to be abused and assaulted by clients on a daily basis. management will twist and bend rules to get rid of staff who say/know too much. you do not have any rights or support system, basically do what your told or your got rid of,one way or another. management are more interested in making money and status therefore often neglecting the needs of clients.

Pros

Seeing clients improving their mental health.

Cons

Where to begin? . Long hours, Lucky to get breaks. Possibly half an hour in a 12 and half hour shift.Often leaving shift up to an hour late. Understaffed. Salary errors constantly, then 4 to 5 months fight to get back pay.Apathy from certain Line Managers. Management only care for the business income and their own bonuses. Extremely high staff turnover due to the above. Lack of exit interviews as management don't want to hear the truth and choose to say staff are only leaving to further their education or career which is UTTER nonsense.
