Pros

Private Directors Association is an outstanding organization that is dedicated to directors, advisors, executive, and priv. co. owners interested in board service to learn, network, identify, and attract exceptional board members. PDA is made up of a cadre of volunteers that have worked tirelessly to build a welcoming atmosphere to members serving on boards, as well as aspiring directors. Under the new CEO’s leadership impactful educational programs are being developed and rolled out, valuable member benefits are being added, and growth throughout is on a rapid upswing.

Pros

In my role as Administrator for the Private Directors Association, I was exposed to exceptional volunteerism and a culture of individuals that are professional, insightful, and dedicated to private company governance and education. Now, as a full-time staff member, I’ve been welcomed to the team of staff and contractors, all of which are experts in their fields and are driven to propel the growth of the Association on the strong foundation that has been built alongside our volunteer leaders. With their expertise, they are focused on the development of strategy and process to drive the mission of our Association. In less than 10 years, the PDA has taken incredible strides, so I’m excited to see what the next 10 have in store!

Cons

The PDA is enhancing their benefits and offering so often, that it's hard to keep up!
