Pros

Company car, phone and computer.

Cons

Remember what happened to Deep Water Horizon in 2010? It's happening here. Horrible Chromebook, super slow. The company talks a great game to get you to take the job, then it all goes downhill from there. Management is not up to par with what most corporations. Sales leadership is the worst I have ever experienced in over 20 years in sales. Arrogant, demeaning, abusive! Highly unprofessional. Don't take a job here! They feed you all this great information when you interview, but once you're hired, you quickly learn it was all a bunch of cr-p. They have absolutely no clue about any markets outside of TX. I find it very odd that as of early March there were only 9 Pro-Vigil reviews on Glassdoor and 90% of them were negative, Then, since March 22 or so, all these 5 star reviews have suddenly popped up on Glassdoor. Look how many were posted on March 22 and 23! And so many of them say the same thing. I will tell you why. The top dog sent a company wide email asking for positive reviews to be written. I think the company saw all the negative reviews here and created a bunch of FAKE positive reviews themselves. This manipulation shows you just how dishonorable this company really is. Base pay for outside reps is a measly $55K. Training is a total joke!!!!! Worthless!!!!!! Company leadership and sales management not on same page. Contradict each other all day long. I wouldn't recommend this company to my worst enemy.

Pros

The product is good if deployed properly

Cons

-This is the worst company I have ever worked for. I left for a better company that doesn’t lie to both employees and customers. I quit and my review is not based on being terminated. -No integrity and a general lack of ethics. -Operational friction -Horrible communication internally as well as with customers. -They lie to customers- “only $5k guarantee one the industry” which is false. If you question them on this they dismiss it even with proof. -Lie about the SLA which states they ping the cameras every five minutes to ensure they are operable. I had several customers experience losses and they were denied because their cameras hadn’t been working for an extended time. -HR seems very confused about how the HR function is supposed to operate. -They will find every possible way to try and short you on pay.

I’m so sorry to hear about these events. As with any high growth company, we have gone through many changes as we continue to grow and the environment is much different now than it was a year ago. That said, your feedback will help us get better so thank you for taking the time to tell us about your experience.

Pros

Decent product. Decent footprint! Company has found a niche market in the Security Industry but it won't last long. Decent benefits.

Cons

They push new hires to fill out Glass Door due to high turn over. They get India office to fabricate positive reviews. New COO is is a jerk he will roll his eyes, talk about everyone behind their back to include CEO. Cutting costs we lost prime management people that were giving everything they had and making things happen for the good. They practice bait & switch to get you on board. Process change frequency is enormous. They make poor choices and then blame employees for bad results. Pro-Vigil is owned by a funding company they are rushing to sell the company at all costs. Turn over is incredible here. Don't think about this company until after its sold. 85% of employees are disgruntled and whispering of either leaving or are looking for new employment. Nobody trusts C Level management at this company.
