Pros

Coworkers are kind and really cared about the clients

Cons

Owner regularly did not pay employees at all levels for work completed, and we often would have to wait for up to a week before the pay would actually come through

Pros

Kids, coworkers (none that are left because everyone leaves due to ethical issues, it’s a revolving door)

Cons

In my experience, payroll is extremely unreliable. Multiple paychecks were late, partial, or unclear, and communication around pay was inconsistent and stressful. Some staff even had to be paid through non-payroll methods while waiting for their actual checks, which made the workplace feel unstable and unprofessional. There is very little transparency about when you will actually be paid for the work you’ve done, and it puts employees in a difficult position, especially those who show up consistently and rely on timely paychecks. Overall, the environment feels disorganized, chaotic, and unsupportive. I would not recommend this company to anyone looking for stable, reliable employment. Terrible PTO policy, sometimes PTO doesn’t get put in.

Pros

There is nothing proactive happening at proactive life skills.

Cons

Over the course of several months I only received a paycheck on time once. The rest of my paychecks arrived between 5 to 6 days late with no explanation and were paid through zelle or cashapp. For holidays, they have a staff member they pay to cook food at their home. There were at least 2 holidays were the company had the money to pay an RBT to cook chicken at their home, but I was still waiting on a paycheck that was more than 3 to 4 days late. The schedule changes day to day, and there are no permanent staff on any cases. You could easily have 15 to 16 different RBTs on a case in a 6 month period. The schedule is never permanent and often changes day to day, with little more than 20 to 30 minutes notice. The inside of the building in the intracoastal area and the murray hill clinic are both really filthy because there is no cleaning service.
