Pros

Fantastic events business (the oscar's of procurement), nice offices and interesting client base. Amazing network of advocates built up over many years of hard work.

Cons

No longer the same company - drastic change 2017-2018. Exodus through to the senior most level- recommend steering clear of membership. Membership organisation continues along its long standing trajectory of missed targets. Senior leadership is breeding a political beast. Likely due to CEO transitioning to highly authoritarian culture.

A disappointment at best

Pros

- You will meet some good people here - Events side of the business is very successful - Client base decent - There's a pool table

Cons

- Management: have made the office a political playground, favouritism is real. They do not seek or welcome any feedback unless it's good. Bad feedback is as if they never heard it or you never raised it. Yet they still expect change and engagement when they do not give any support - Culture: continuous high turnover rate. In particular, the memberships side of the business seem to have virtually no one in seat longer than a year, with many vacancies still yet to be filled... - Content: is mediocre at best, research team also seem to be dwindling and hire analysts with no prior experience/knowledge in procurement Unless you are considering a role in the events side of the company, I would recommend staying away. Memberships is a catastrophe in particular. Look at all of the reviews from the past year, it should be pretty clear how people who have worked here have viewed the company.

Butchered what was once a wonderful company

Pros

I met some truly fantastic people during my time (a lot of these people have seen sense and departed). Hosts very well organised and enterprising events around the world- this brings some good travel opportunities Given big responsibility early (sometimes too big) and a chance to work with blue-chip clients Great office location

Cons

The environment WAS vibrant, supportive and generally one of the best places to work. However, in early 2018, senior management decided to kill off the existing culture and replace it with a toxic, corporate minefield- ruthlessly removing close to 10% of the team in the process. Authoritarian leadership and micromanagement became the norm with a need to justify almost hourly productivity to avoid a severe reprimand (often in front of the team). Ironic for a company that preaches about "the importance of being agile/empowering" to its clients. Low morale and continuing high staff turnover is of little concern to senior management whose only focus is balancing the books to ensure a successful acquisition. Also very little to no procurement training is provided to staff, which is worrying considering most staff are graduates who had to google the meaning of the word "procurement" before their interviews.
