Based on our records, we do not have any current employees working from Iqaluit, NU. We want to be transparent about this, as it raises questions about the context of this review. That said, any concerns raised — around management conduct and equitable practices in hiring — are ones we take seriously regardless of their source. We are committed to fostering a fair, inclusive, and respectful workplace, and we do not tolerate discrimination or the protection of harmful behaviours based on performance. If anyone has witnessed or experienced behaviour that doesn't reflect our values, we strongly encourage them to report it through our whistleblower hotline, called “Speak Up,” which allows for anonymous and confidential reporting. All submissions are reviewed and taken seriously. We appreciate the feedback on compensation and benefits, and we remain committed to doing right by our people.

Thank you for the thoughtful review. Hearing that our culture and commitment to continuous learning stood out is something the whole team can be proud of. As you call out, we do need to remain flexible as a company to ensure we’re meeting the evolving needs of our users. This means teams may be adjusted internally to ensure we have the right people working on projects with the biggest impact. While change can be uncomfortable for some, on the whole we find many are energized by the variety this brings. We appreciate your time at Prodigy and wish you well.

Thank you for this — "great mission, solid people" is exactly what we aspire to be, and it means a lot coming from someone who experienced it firsthand over more than three years. We're glad the growth conversations and career clarity stood out. That's something we invest in intentionally, because we believe people do their best work when they know where they're headed. Layoffs are hard, and we don't take lightly the impact they have on people and their lives. We're grateful for the contributions of everyone who's been part of building Prodigy, and we wish you nothing but the best in what comes next.
