Pros

If you are a hard worker and care about the job you do this is the best company. We are a great team all striving to get better and more efficient daily. I have been in this business for 25 years and have yet to meet a better owner then Jason Marsh.

Cons

I can't think of any cons. It can be stressful but what job isn't if you care about it?

Summer Sales Sleaze That Never Grew Up

Pros

Prodigy Promos has great compensation for their sales team. It isn't always the easiest sale, and you are unable to control all of the variables with products produced out-of-house, but if you can manage accounts you'll make good money.

Cons

You will only see this money while you are one the CEO's good side. Go to lunch with him daily, laugh at his jokes, talk his same inappropriate language, listen to blaring rap music all day, and.... maybe he'll keep you around. After I was let go (because I didn't fit the culture) and all of my account were stripped from me and distributed to the CEO's favorites. In speaking with other people in the industry that know the CEO (Jason Marsh), they say he has always operated this way. He'll hire sales guys, let them build accounts then fire them saying they don't fit into the culture. I found out he later fired the highest producing sales rep a week before he was getting married, then kept the rep's book of business (over 5 mil annually) and distributed it among is friends. The work that goes on inside Prodigy is very dishonest, customers are lied to and cheated. I would not recommend their services to anyone.

Unfortunately, most of the statements made in this review simply aren't true. We require employees to meet standards for performance. The expectations for account managers (sales persons) are extremely clear, and all decisions regarding who to hire and who to let go are made based on skill set, experience, and performance. We have a unique business culture that's fun and edgy. We have an accepting, open office environment where we love variety. Let it be known that we are NOT corporate America. T-shirts are the dress code every single day. However, we demand professionalism and accountability from ALL employees. Prodigy Promos also takes tremendous pride in being honest and upfront with both customers and employees. We welcome anyone to get to know us and see that for themselves.

Pros

Working as a sales rep, the most important thing to me is having the owner behind you to close as many deals as you can; Jason is all about closing deals. The more deals you close the more money you can make. No ceiling. The company is structured for a sales rep to go out and do his job, sell. The compensation is great. Coming from 7 years in a different sales position, I was stoked to see that there was a company that offered great commission incentive. Jason loves to share his knowledge of the industry. I have been able to experience a lot of meetings where his experience has helped get business from potential clients. Overall, Prodigy is a sales reps dream job - all the tools to close deals and no ceiling.

Cons

Like any company, there are several areas that can be improved. Everyone at Prodigy is open to ideas on how to make the business more efficient. Honestly, not much cons for me to offer other than always having open communication about every process.
